Now that we are all back in Canada, we have put the blogs on hold while we settle into a routine. If you haven't read them before or wish to read them again, you can read our entries from the past year. The rainforest blogs -- Joshua's Journal, Karen's Komments, and Liam's Log -- give perspectives on how three very different people experience a new environment, culture, and way of life.
Josh spent the past ten years building a business while missing out on family time. He's been fascinated by reptiles and amphibians most of his life and has a passion for sharing his love of these animals with anyone who will listen. Moving and change are not something that phase him.
After working for eight years at environmental conservation organizations, Karen spent the last six years as a "married single parent" raising Liam and James. She has a love, respect and appreciation for the natural world which she desires to instill in her two sons.
Six year old Liam loves all living things and is fascinated by unique experiences and environments. He's wise beyond his years and has a great perspective on conservation and the natural world.
